Dr. Reiss

Specializing in cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness-based positive psychology with individuals who struggle with anxiety disorders.

Dr. Reiss has a Ph.D., in Counseling with a specialization in Marriage and Family. She has been a Licensed Mental Health Therapist specializing in treating Anxiety related disorders. She is a state of Florida qualified and approved Supervisor for MHC and MFT interns. She has a state of Florida teaching certification in Guidance and Counseling and is an Adjunct Professor in Psychology.

My Approach

We will work as a team by individualizing therapy to your needs and personal goals. Therapy will focus on helping you find the right holistic and therapeutic tools to help with your anxious feelings while lowering your levels of stress and depression.

My goal is to provide a safe, compassionate, understanding environment and to support and empower you to examine your life and make healthy changes. I believe in collaborating with patients and establishing a trusting, productive space for you to grow either online or in person sessions.

As a licensed Mental Health Counselor, I treat a number of problem areas including depression, anxiety, relationship problems, and stressful life changes. I specialize in providing therapy to those struggling with depression, anxiety, and I welcome anyone in need of therapy for other emotional and psychological issues. During the course of your therapy, you’ll gain the skills to overcome your struggles and obtain a fresh perspective on life’s issues.

My Specialization

Is working with teens, young adults, individuals, and families who suffer from Anxiety, Stress, Behavioral issues, Stress Management and Maladaptive Behaviors. I offer my expertise in implementing different types of tools to learn how to work through Anxious thoughts and feelings. We are relational human beings and it is important to first work on our relationship with ourselves and then bring that knowledge into our relationships with others. In therapy we will be utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotional Response therapy,  and Relational therapies.

Amanda Hayman

Amanda Hayman, MFTI

Amanda Hayman is a licensed marriage and family Intern (LMFI) with a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University in Malibu, California. With a passion for helping individuals and families navigate through life’s challenges, Amanda has dedicated her career to providing compassionate and effective psychotherapy.

Amanda has extensive experience working in community mental health settings, where she has honed her skills in providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions to a diverse population. She has worked with individuals of all ages and backgrounds, including adults experiencing depression, anxiety, transitions, and relational difficulties.

With a warm and non-judgmental approach, I create a safe and supportive space for my clients to explore their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I utilize a collaborative and strengths-based approach to therapy, tailoring my treatment plans to meet the unique needs and goals of each individual or family. I draw from various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT), and emotionally-focused therapy (EFT), to help my clients gain insight, develop coping skills, and foster healthy relationships. I am also certified in Community Resiliency Model (CRM).
